PENNY DAILY: In Web-TV land Penny is your imaginary friend.  Penny provides you with comfort and laughter in your times of stress, companionship when you're lonely, someone to feel "better than" when you feel powerless and someone to blame when something goes wrong.  Penny Daily is the consummate Underdog. She is taking her clever acting and comedy skills to Hollywood for an opportunity to work with the Big Dog, Ashton Kutcher.

Creator: Penny “Anybody” Daily

Working Title: After10
We Talk. We Listen. We Engage.

Logline: Web based cable television evening talk/variety show hosted by a “Somebody”, (________________) Insert mega famous person here like Ashton Kutcher, and an “Anybody”, Otherwise unknown expert on average, Penny Daily.

A nearly live 60 minute show segmented into comedic sketches, hidden camera bits, game show elements, topical news segments, recurrent characters, webisodes, musical performances, parodies, home made commercials, audience (live, online and on set) participation, citizen video reporting, improv, stand up, celebrity guests interviews, and talk. 50% of the show is user/viewer generated content. After10 utilizes cable television, internet & eventually radio as mediums to create buzz and buy-in from consumers.

Daily To-Do List

  1. Make a million dollars.
  2. Lose 3 million dollars.
  3. Dodge and ditch bill collectors, run from foreclosures, and file for bankruptcy. Feel like a complete failure.
  4. Pack up the whole family, rent a U-haul, move across the country from Jacksonville, Florida to Los Angeles, CA. Feel like a “Before & After” episode of a horrible reality based show about the recession.
  5. Create a Web TV two hosts talk show. Make it include improv, comedic sketches, character acting but mainly Internet/interactive material. Underdog & Big Dog concept. Create a comedy sitcom and write a book.
  6. Pitch the idea to Katalyst Media, specifically Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, in person. Katalyst Media commits to project.
  7. Decide on network with greatest visibility. Best fit for 18-49 year old that would generate 1.7-2.2 viewers per episode including cable television and Internet.
  8. Cast writers and talent for segmented evening show. Begin sort of live season with tremendous exposure with a 30-35% Internet base.
  9. Become top rated web based cable television show within 1 year. Team to set sights on ultimate goal of only 30-35% cable television and the higher percentage going Internet.
